Well, I am sitting here going BONKERS! really, I am. I'm hoping blogging will help me keep my mind off of my wait. I'm waiting to hear from the lab on the eggs to see how many were mature and how many fertilized. They retrieved 15 which is very good. Last time, they retrieved 26 and that ended badly, too many!
I am feeling much better than last time. We arrived around 730am, got checked in, IV started. Judy and Bev were my nurses. There was only one other ER yesterday. So, it was quiet plus, it was a Sunday. Dr. H did my ER, he was very happy yesterday. The first thing out of his mouth, well after how are you, was Good News!!! I was like really? already? we haven't even gotten started, LOL. He says, I get to do both your ER and ET! So, nice to hear he thought I'd be having a ET this time. :) and, Susan, one of my favorite IVF nurses assisted in the OR!
I remembered getting off the ER table and was up fairly quickly. The nurses were all happy about that. I was out of there fairly quickly. Of course, we go to get on the expressway and it's bumper to bumper. We had to get off at the next exit and it took an hour vs. 35 minutes to get home. I was wanting a percocet bad but the pain was tolerable. I was just afraid it'd get worse. I spent all day in bed and took a few percocet. I think that's about all, pretty easy day. Now, we wait for the fertilization report!!! Last time, they called around 8am, and here it is 930am and still no call. I would just like to get past another thing and rest today. I can't rest until I hear this report....
